Happy, happy, happy... :o)

It seems that some people from an old company I worked for (and did a bloody great job at), have decided they want to cut ties with me. They REALLY upset me today. The first e-mail I receive from them in weeks, and they personally attack me. Thanks guys :o(

I don't want to lose them as friends, because one of them is really close to me, and I understand that they're stressed at work. Please guys, if you're reading this, I apologise for everything that's been said and done. Just don't forget me, and please try to understand everything I'm going through at the moment. I'm a bit stressed too you know!!!

A fitting irony that 'stressed' is 'desserts' backwards... :)

Well, I've got a new job :) I'm earning a substantial amount more than I was at my old place, and the people are a lot better. The company is HUGE and I'm based at their head office. My manager's cool (hi Louisa!) and the rest of the team are great too ;) I've already had two compliments about my work, so I'm allowed to boast a little d:o) (that's me with a smart hat on).

The company also has a great training and development programme which I'm going to get put on to further my career, so that should be good :) I have to do quite a bit of driving to get there and back, and unfortunately, it's on the M6, so traffic can be a right *censored* at times!!! :o( But, I'll persevere, and might even move closer to work, if it all goes well... Watch this space (if there's any of you out there who actually read my corner of cyberspace!!!)

The job I've got at the moment sucks major ass. The company is okay, but the people are crap, well, one of them is. This isn't the only reason I'm going to leave though.

A number of things that were said in the interview either are not happening for a while, or will never happen. That's nothing bad against the company, it's just that if you're gonna tell someone what they can expect if they leave a job to move there, then you should at least deliver those things!!! The job I left in Telford was fantastic. I dropped a lot of money to come here, and it's all been a complete waste of my time, and a step back in my career :(

I was out in St. Helens, Lancashire, with a few mates, including Andy and Shaun (the lads we met on holiday in Crete 2001). We were in Yates's and decided to go to Chicago Rock next door. We couldn't get in because Shaun's not old enough (you had to be at least 20 that night) so we went back to Yates's... On the way (about 10 metres!), some woman grabbed my arm, swung me around and asked if I was one of the lads from Westlife!!! (Should I really be owning up to this!?) Anyways, I said no, but she asked me to sing something... So, never one to miss an opportunity to sing really badly... I sang the last verse from "Flying Without Wings" and got a bit of a clap from it!!! Oh dear :)

Happy New Year! I still don't feel very well :(

I went to the Jam House in Birmingham tonight. It's a jazz/rhythm 'n' blues/soul club owned by Jools Holland. I still don't feel too good and I think I got food poisoning from some, err, food :( So, anyways, I had a lousy night tonight, and had to drive back home... accidentally throwing up on someone's rubbish bags on Broad Street. So, I'm really sorry for that!!!

Merry Xmas again! I don't feel very well :(

It's my birfday again. If you can't add up, I'm old now :( but for the purposes of this website, I'm happy to relinquish a few of those years to appear as a 21 year old! Actually, I still keep getting asked how old I am before I can get into clubs and pubs! How neat is that!? Cool :o)

Wow! The holiday meant a complete change in my life! I met a lad over there in Crete, Andy, who is the mate of one of my computery mates who I'd never met! (Chatted on the net etc. about our operating system software project) I've now moved out of home and moved to Cheshire to be a web developer for a new company. The job's great and it's good to be closer to some of my friends.

Unfortunately, moving to Cheshire means moving away from some of my other friends, but I have to move on. This new job has so many opportunities for me, I'd be stoopid to give it up. Wish me luck! Oh, and I'm doing my degree now too - BSc (Hons) Computing and Information Technology... Wish me luck for that too!
